On-device processing

Images you choose, generated paint-by-number pages, canvas content, and drawing process videos are processed and stored only on your device. Artwork files and visual content are never included in diagnostic reports.

Website line-art generation

The photo-to-line-art tool on the Tutu website runs in your browser. Images you choose are not uploaded to our servers, and generated line art, numbers, and palettes remain on your device.

Photo access

Tutu requests photo access only when you choose an image or save finished artwork. Selected images are used solely for on-device page generation, and write access is used solely to save artwork to your photo library.

Diagnostic reports

To help investigate occasional Apple Pencil stroke gaps and artwork storage problems, Tutu briefly retains recent technical diagnostics in memory. During normal use, this data is not written to a diagnostic attachment or sent over the network.

Only when you explicitly tap Send Diagnostic Logs does the app send a report to Sentry. A report may include the app version, device model and system version, performance and runtime conditions, de-identified input and rendering counts, and a health summary of the current artwork storage.

Reports exclude artwork images, screenshots, raw or absolute touch coordinates, stored file contents, artwork names or IDs, file names or paths, user-entered text, account information, and unique device identifiers. Reports are used only for technical support and troubleshooting, not behavioral analytics, advertising, or tracking.

Third parties and children

Tutu includes no advertising networks, third-party behavioral analytics SDKs, or social login. Sentry receives and stores the technical report described above only when you explicitly submit one. Tutu otherwise does not share personal information with third parties and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Website analytics

The Tutu website uses Umami on our own server to measure page views, referrers, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, approximate region derived from the IP address, and App Store button clicks. The IP address is used only to create an anonymous session and derive region information; it is not stored.

This measurement uses no cookies, does not identify individual visitors, and does not use user identifiers, session replay, or heatmaps. URL query parameters and hashes are excluded. When Do Not Track is enabled in the browser, the website sends no analytics data. Analytics data remains on our self-hosted server and is not sent to Umami Cloud.
